GVF concert poster

The most difficult aspect of this project was actually how loose the direction given was. The only objectives were to create a concert poster. It could be any artist or band as well as any size.  I started off by listing what my choices could be for the artist or band and narrowed down by which ones I could feel the most connection to and felt I could generate the best ideas for. After I narrowed it down to 3 options I started making a lot of different sketches. I wrote down and sketched all my ideas for each group no matter how crazy they seemed. This brainstorming and sketching helped me narrow down a specific band, Greta Van Fleet, and a style that I wanted to incorporate.
